Singapore Bowling Federation (SBF) has introduced the Registry of Active Coaches (ROAC) in April 2008.

 

SBF Registry of Active Coaches (ROAC) will comprise coaches who have been certified through coaching courses conducted by SBF (STBC) from 2003 onwards and taken a SBF Continuing Education Programme/Workshop

Benefits:

• Boost to credibility… A quality assurance to schools, clubs and public that SBF registered “Active Bowling Coaches” are up-to-date in their coaching knowledge.
• Recognition from having met the latest minimum coaching standard.
• Receive updates and enjoy special privileges on the latest Continuing Education Programme/Workshop to continually upgrade knowledge and coaching skills.
• 10% discounted rates for SBF organised coaching programmes.
• Display personal photo, contact number and email address in SBF website. This serve as valuable information for the schools, clubs and public to select a qualified coach to carry out coaching assignments.

Coaching Levels:

• Coaching Level: SBF Certified Level I Coach:
  Recommended as an Assistant Coach for Schools, Colleges and Clubs.
• Coaching Level: SBF Certified Level II Coach:
  Recommended as Head Coach for Schools, Colleges and Clubs.
• Coaching Level: SBF Certified Level III Coach:
  Recommended as Head Coach for Schools, Colleges, and Clubs, and assist in conducting the National Development Programme.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least ABF-SBF (STBC) Level I / II or SBF I /II certified from 2003 onwards or SBF Level I from 2009 onwards.

 

To maintain the status on the Register, all Coaches must attend at least one SBF Continuing Education Programme/Workshop per year
