Team Sea Rider wins Round 6

2nd July, Singapore: Team Sea Rider, comprising of Soh Meng Tang, Roger Koh Kwang Hui and Sim Tian Heng, won the final Round 6 of the Canon SuperSeries 2 2010 at Orchid Bowl @ SAFRA Yushin on Friday.

Fourth round champion, Team Syntech, comprising of Lim Choon Heng, Steven Ang and Benjamin Hong, got off to a great start with a 619 game to lead the field of 22 teams with Team Sea Rider trailing in second and 30 pins adrift.

Team Syntech downed another good 592 second game to continue to lead but saw their margin reduced to 19 pins after Sea Rider posted a better 603 game.

Despite a decent 560 in Team Syntech’s third and final game, their total of 1771 was only good for second place as Sea Rider rolled another splendid 601 to snatch the victory with 1793 pinfalls.

Soh downed the highest 3-game series for the team with 622 as Roger contributed 600 and Sim posted 571. Emmanuel Mataya Zoleta, Lee Teck Seng and Tham Wei Han totaled 1709 to claim third spot.

XXXcellence Team 1 consisting of Eridix Ng Soo Cheng, Victor Lim and Eric Koh Wee Siang finished fourth with 1666 while Canon Singapore 1’s Raymen Darmen, Goh Khuan Siew and Andy Tan rounded up the top 5 with 1656.
