Sports School youths make impact
His three-game series of 667 secured him a place in the finals, second behind leader, Tan Kean Hoong of Malaysia, who has 682. Muhammad's team-mate, Jeol Tan also impressed with 651 posted late last night.
Tan registered 192, 211 and 248 to take up third spot in the Boy's Under-15 table. Other Singapore Sports Schools youths, who have also done well were Javier Tan in seventh with 632, Benedict Tan in eighth with 630.
Kwa Lay Teng, Kimbery Ooi, Charmaine Lim and Audrey Tan occupied 12th, 13th, 15th and 18th positions with 555, 554, 551 and 530 respectively. Joey Yeo of Singapore has 588 for sixth position.
Singapore Sports School has 32 youths competing in the Under-15 and Open divisions for the on-going championship. Agape Bowling has the biggest group with more than 36 youths mostly under-12 and under-15. Singapore's ACS has 18 youths in the Under-12 while Strike Academy has 30 youths competing in the under-12 and under-15 divisions.
