Three out of three

16th October, Singapore: Host city, Singapore won their third gold medal in the Women's Team at the 25th Asian Intercity Bowling Championship making it three out of three events contested while Daegu snatched the Men's Team gold in the final game from Paranaque.  Two gold medalist, Amanda Ng teamed up with Bernice Lim, Fok Ka Wai and Ilma Nur Jannah with a superf 943 opening game to lead Paranaque's Apple Posadas, Lara Posadas, Sheena Go and Yap Seok Kim by 99 pins.

Despite a lower second game of 791, Singapore still managed to stretch their lead over their nearest opponent to 209 pins. The quartet were simply no match as they strolled to a convincing victory with 5038, 464 pins ahead.

Ng rolled 1298 with Lim contributing with 1244, Fok 1184 as anchorwomen, Ilma posted the highest 6-game series with 1312.

Paranaque posted 4574 to settle for the silver medal while Pasay City's K-Ann Lopez, Anne Ramirez, Jai Ramirez and Anne Marie Kiac took the bronze medal with 4375. Jurong finished fourth with 4255.

Bernice Lim captured her first individual and her third gold medal after edging team-mate, Amanda Ng by 10 pins to top the All Events with 3872. Ng took the silver with 3862 while Ilma completed a one-two-three for Singapore with the bronze medal with 3702.Daegu, who were trailing leader Paranaque by 14 pins before the final game, clinched their first gold medal of the championship with victory in the Men's Team event. Kim Do Young, Choi Suk Byung, Park Hee Jeong and Park Min Su amassed a total of 4945.

Paranaque's Johnson Cheng, Sixto Sengson, Gene Basa and Frank Russo settled for the silver medal with 4928 while two gold medalist, Jay Leon Guerrero led his Tamuning team-mates, JD M. Castro, John John Ada and Tyler Bishop to take home the bronze medal with 4828. Hong Kong missed the podium after finishing fourth, just 18 pins behind Tamuning.

Guerrero claimed his third gold medal after topping the All Events standings with 4047, 218 pins ahead of Daegu's Park Min Su settling for the silver medal with 3829. Jeremy Posadas of Pasay City took the bronze medal with 3800.

Jurong finally won their first gold medal when Adam Chew, Mervyn Seah, Lau Su Eng and Chinstine Chan triumphed in the Senior Mixed Team event with 4199. East Coast settled for the silver with 4127 while Paranaque took the bronze with 4110.

The top 16 men and top 16 women in the Men's and Women's All Events standings advanced to the Masters Elimination finals. The top 8 Senior men and top 8 Senior women also advanced for their Masters finals which will be contested tomorrow.
