Engaging and Inspiring the Youth on Sports
5th September, Singapore: SingaporeBowling AYG bowlers - Justin Lim, Anthea Soh and Ilma Nur Jannah had the opportunity to meet up with sports leaders and students from Geylang Methodist Sports School during their one-day Sports and Food Carnival.
The carnival was held to celebrate the school’s 85th year thanksgiving and in support of the Youth Olympic Games 2010.
During the short one-hour session, our bowlers had the opportunity to share their personal experiences to encourage and inspire the school’s sports leaders and the Young Team Singapore Ambassadors (YTSA).
Apart from discussions led by the Young Team Singapore Ambassadors, some of the students also sought advice on how they can continue to balance their sports pursuit with studies.
The session ended with a momento presentation of a drawing by the students to our bowlers in appreciation of their time and attendance.
