Canon SuperSeries 4 Launch

24th February, Singapore: Canon Singapore bowls off the fourth season of the popular Canon SuperSeries - a corporate sporting initiative that promotes a healthy work-life balance through bowling.

The Leisure category will have an entry fee of only $120 per team of four bowlers; this will encourage companies to rally their employees together for a game of bowling, promoting team spirit and teamwork through a greater emphasis on work-life-balance

The recent recommendations in the Vision 2030 statement will mean greater support and recognition for the corporate sector to promote sports. Such corporate leagues will act both as a network to bring business from different industries together through the fun of the sport.

The Canon SuperSeries was founded on the universal appeal of bowling as a sport which is not only fun but can also bring about teamwork, inspire dedication and discipline as reflected from the Singapore National Bowlers, who dedicate their time to balance between their commitments and their personal lives.

Canon has been a strong supporter of health and productivity in the workplace and their continued focus on providing effective business solutions and innovation; Canon's hope to benefit more employees and companies from this initiative to empower local businesses to become more effective.

Contributing to healthy work-life practices

In partnership with the Singapore Bowling Federation, the Canon SuperSeries was created to foster healthy workforce development practices through the sport and follows on from Canon's six-year sponsorship agreement with the Singapore Bowling Federation. Now into its fourth year after its launch in 2008, we see an increase of companies coming on board this initiative and approach of expanding business networks and relations over a friendly game of bowling.
