Another title to Singapore

13th August, Jakarta: Fok Ka Wai of Singapore Sports School and a member of the SBF development squad, gave Singapore another title when she emerged the champion in the Youth Girl's Under-22 finals on Thursday.  Fok Ka Wai immediately went into the lead with a superb 232 opening game but a crack 138 in the second game saw the lead go to Indonesia's Syncheria. Fortunately, the Singaporean did not panic but bounced back with 204 and 203 to regain the lead.

It was smooth sailing from then on reeling in 175, 208, 233, 213, 172 and 214 to emerged as a comfortable winner with 1992 over the 10-game finals. Local favourite, Tannya Roumimper of Bandung settled for second with 1959.

Indonesia's Kartika and Youth Girl's Under-18 champion, Jessica Florencia of Medan took third and fourth spots with 1789 and 1783 with Syncheria rounding up the top 5.

Top qualifier and Singapore Open Youth Girls champion, Kristel Oh of Singapore Sports School failed to get into her stride ending up seventh in a field of nine finalists.

Meanwhile, ABF Tour Bahrain leg champion, Eric Tseng of Hong Kong emerged as the Youth Boy's Under-22 champion after he totaled 1928 in the finals. Indonesia's Rizkyditia and Erick Ngo finished second and third with 1896 and 1836.
